I think it was cheap for SF. Even though hotel is far from center it is 2 minuts walk from beach and next to L MUNI station. Moreover free parking was really convenient!
breakfast like all motels I visited in US are not good

Super comfortable bed and pillows. Truly nice and sincere staff. Within walking distance to several dining spots for bfast, lunch or dinner. Sf zoo right across the street and the ocean two blocks away. Stayed off sloat blvd and was very quiet.
Could not open our window for fresh air. Did not ask staff to look at though so not really a complaint or we would have asked. Just turned on in-room air which worked great.

This was a very comfortable and well sized room, looks exactly as shown in the picture. I was travelling arround the area for about 10 days and this is was the best shot for the money for my whole jorney. It is also practically on the beach ~ 5 minutes walking
There is no place to go for a dinner on a walking distance.

Pretty large bathrom
I nearly got charged 40$ more than the price shown on Booked.net, so ask the price before checking. I paid 180$ for a room worth at least half, but it was friday, that might explain it! Very poor breakfast. Not central, i thing i would have prefered cheaper in tenderloin and pay more in covered parking

The front staff were very nice people. The room was a bit worn out, but the location and free parking made up for it. Next door was a very good coffee spot, Java Beach. We were there every morning. The free breakfast was toast and wrapped danish, coffee and juice. We ended up never eating it, as we needed something more substantial for a day of sight seeing. Muni stop was around the corner. This hotel is in a residential area, so it is quite and felt safe. It was an easy drive to golden gate park and the Richmond district.
We ended up in a smoking room. The staff were regretful and we made the most of it. It was a bummer but not the end of the world.

It was just around the corner from the venue for my high school reunion. I was comfortable in my room and the cost was reasonable.

i liked the close proximity to the Beach
the hotel was a dump. i was afraid to sleep in the bed, it seemed dirty. Construction was going on and it was dirty and loud. Would not stay here again

Clean, quiet, enough towels, paper encased plastic glasses, courteous housekeepers, excellent pillows and mattresses, coffee in room.
coffee pot ran over, a little hard to figure out.

Nothing
We booked for a non-smoking room and got a smoking room that triggered our childs asthma. The bathroom fixtures are falling off the wall, the shower curtain rod is hanging by a single screw, the hair dryer doesn't work. The in room coffee maker doesn't work. You can't open the windows to air out the room. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Proximity to San Francisco State university. Friendly staff
Improve the vetilation system. My room 204 smelled of food every morning. I'd the carpet in the staircase and corridors removed or replaced. I guess they are about to as they were painting the walls while we stayed there.

The proximity to the zoo and beach can't be beat! With free parking it made the weekend perfect with my five your old. Also, Java Beach was an amazing spot for treats and coffee on the same block as the hotel!
